Examples of Flat Panel Wall Mounts
The following two are the most famous categories of flat panel wall mounts
- LCD TVs
- Plasma TVs
Difference between LCD and Plasma TVs
LCD TVs are available even in smaller sizes whereas Plasma TVs are available only in larger size. Also Plasma TVs are prone to pixel burns, where pixels get burned when a static image is displayed for prolonged time but this problem never arises in an LCD TV. But LCD TVs suffer from a phenomenon known as ghosting where we see a shadow following a moving image. To put it in a nutshell, Plasma TVs are good for viewing HD motion pictures in great quality and LCD TVs are good for static images.
